"Mystery" is a statement piece of art. Inspired by the desert, after a trip to New Mexico I was able to paint the emotions that this scene called to my mind. Empowering and exciting but calming at the same time. Dry lands but so alive that is almost impossible to understand. That is a big mystery and one more incredible surprise that the universe prepared for us.
To create this piece, I used acrylics and to give it a sparky finish, I coated the middle part with resin. This emphasizes the difference between matt and shine, giving depth and interest to the work.
As displayed in the images, this piece can be rotated to hang vertically or horizontally.
